FOSTER A DOG

***UPDATE REGARDING FOSTER APPLICATIONS 8/27/2020***

With shelter in place guidelines slowly being relaxed in SoCal, we are now re-opening applications for foster families.

These low-riders need your help! Being a foster parent can be one of the most rewarding experiences for both the foster parent and the foster dog. If you are ready, open your heart and home up to a foster dog and act as their necessary stepping stone from their past and their bright, happier future.

STEP ONE: Attend a Foster Information Zoom call.

We will be holding a Foster Information Zoom call on
October 17 at 10am PT which will outline the protocols and rules that are required to be a QBSDR foster pawrent. If you would like to join this Zoom call, please email info@qbsdr.org for meeting invite.

STEP TWO: Request and submit a Foster Application

If after attending the Zoom Call and learning about the protocols you are expected to uphold, you are still interested in applying, please let us know via email with a request for the link to our foster application.

STEP THREE: Attend in-person foster training at the QBSDR Ranch in Acton, CA

Foster training is a two-day program. Day one will go over our 5 rules and boundaries. Day two you will learn the “Place” command and how to implement the 5 Rules taught on Day one. Attendance on both days is required. Additionally, due to Covid-19, we are requiring attendees have a recent, confirmed NEGATIVE Covid test to secure a spot in these small,
four-person session training groups.

ADOPT A DOG

*****SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT****

AS OF 10/01/2020, APPLICATIONS ARE STILL TEMPORARILY CLOSED. WE ARE WORKING TO REVAMP OUR ADOPTION PROCESS AND WILL MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT BOTH HERE AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA WHEN WE ARE READY TO BEGIN ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING DURING THIS TIME.

Are you ready to add a new, loving, wonderful dog to your pack? Or maybe adopt your first dog? Our low-riders are looking for their "fur-ever" homes, patiently waiting until the right family comes along. We take a methodical approach by placing our dogs in homes that will be the best match for their needs. This is to ensure that you and your family are introduced to the best dog for you, and our dogs are introduced to the best family for them. Onward to a happier and healthier life!
