Male, 6 years old
NEW TO RESCUE 8/22/2017!
Owner surrender due to complications from IVDD.
Fostered in NorCal.
Drags his hind legs which also causes lacerations that need to be treated.
Does not have control of his bladder and bowels which requires belly bands and occasionally expressions.
Had surgery in March ’17, but did not get the physical therapy needed immediately following to help fight atrophy.
Has movement in the hind legs; uses cart to walk.
Needs strengthening exercises and stretching.
Needs desensitizing to being carried and having back legs stretched/manipulated
BUSTER
Male, 6.5 years old
Owner surrender to rescue due to issues with new puppy.
Has severe degenerative joint disease of the hips.
Requires FHO surgery (femoral head osteotomy) aka hip replacement surgery.
Good with most dogs.
Good with older, respectful kiddos.
Enjoys playing with toys.
Crate and potty trained.
Knows basic commands.
Walks decently on leash.
Will be available for adoption after surgery and rehab; needs experienced owner.
Requires glucosamine supplements for remainder of life.
CHARLIE BUG
Female, 9 years old
Owner surrender due to herding children.
Working on weight loss to reach ideal weight of 25lbs, currently 40lbs.
Working on crate training.
Working on basic commands.
Walks well on leash.

Has kidney disease, requires special diet.
Requires supplements for remainder of life.
Enjoys playing fetch.
Good with dogs and older, respectful kids.

Male, 4 years old
Owner surrender to rescue due to medical issue; full body yeast infection.
Irresponsibly bred, inbred corgi.
Has attrition of teeth (severely worn down) due to biting skin from allergies and skin infections; can worsen.
Has severe allergies and dermatitis.
Susceptible to health issues.
Has arthritis in lower back, narrowed disc space between vertebrae, and spondylosis (bone spurs) in lower back.
Working on basic obedience and desensitizing touch to sensitive areas; WILL BITE if sensitive areas are touched.
Crate trained.
Walks well on leash.
Medium/Medium-High energy.
Good with dogs and RESPECTFUL kiddos.
Not good for first time corgi or dog owner.
Future home needs to be secure and prepared for financial responsibilities.
COWBOY

Owner surrender to rescue due to move.
Heartworm positive; undergoing treatment.
Possible neurological issue with back legs; intermittent weakness.
Possible Degenerative myelopathy (DM).
Low/Medium Energy.
Good with other dogs and kiddos.
Affectionate and loving.
Enjoys sunbathing and napping.

Good temperament for first time owner.
Requires anti-inflammatory, pain medication, and glucosamine for life.

Saved from death row at shelter.
Owner surrender due to biting and food aggression; bit first family while herding children, bit second family while being hand fed.
Working on food aggression with people.
Working on guarding toys and food
Working on basic obedience, leash manners, and courtesy/impulse control.
Has destructive behavior.
Crate and potty trained.
Playful with toys and dogs of the right energy and temperament.

PANDA BEAR
Female, 7.5 years old
Saved from backyard puppy mill.
Lived 7 years in puppy mill box.
Sibling to Poppy.
Was near death when saved; abusers left her with no access to food or water; was severely emaciated with large infected injuries to leg.
Double amputee, missing back legs.
Leg amputated due to severity of infection in order to save her life.
Working on gaining weight, strength, and muscle mass.
Working on socialization to outside world, people, and assertiveness with dogs.
Working on resource guarding around dogs.
Playful with toys and dogs with the right energy and temperament.
Affectionate and loving with humans.
In excited state when reacting to dogs, will redirect and bite people.
VERY HIGH SPECIAL NEEDS; requires manual expression to potty, cannot pee or poop on her own.
WEARS DIAPERS, will have accidents.

Male, Possibly around 5 years old

Found as a stray in Temecula by good samaritans.
Very sweet demeanor.
Sable coloring.
Needs to be potty trained.
Recently underwent emergency surgery to correct a large bilateral perineal hernia. While under, he was also neutered to help prevent the hernia from reoccurring. (THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED!!!)
