reactivity, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. Please read bios thoroughly.

DOOGIE Male, approx. 7 years old (Courtesy Post – not a QBSDR dog, but being adopted through QBSDR) Surrendered at 2 y/o due food aggression and lack of socialization. Requires continued behavioral management (impulse control). Gets overly excited which can escalate to reactivity (bark, lunge, spin) if not properly managed. Knows basic commands. Crate trained. Enjoys walks/outings; walks well on leash when not excited. NOT suitable for homes with small children. Would be best as only dog or with a mellow female.

SAM Male, approx. 5-6 years old Found as a stray in Temecula by good Samaritans. Very sweet demeanor. Loves people and cuddling. Doesn’t care to play with other dogs or toys. Has some leash reactivity to larger dogs. Good with dogs and great with kids of all ages (especially special-needs kids). Crate and potty trained. Underwent TPLO surgery on left knee -- will likely need surgery on right knee in the future. Underwent emergency surgery to correct large perineal hernia and bladder entrapment. Due severity of this hernia, his rectal wall and sphincter has weakened which results in a taking a long time to potty.
