Cowboy (Available for Adoption!)
Cowboy is a handsome 9.5 year old male surrendered to the rescue due to a move. He tested positive for heart worms, but has completed heart worm treatment and bedrest. Affectionately known as “Cowpoke” – this fella is a low/med energy dog that is happy to lay in the sun and relax. He has a possible neurological issue in the back legs with intermittent weakness as well as possible DM.
Cowboy has a wonderful temperament that makes him ideal for a first time owner. He is affectionate, loving, and good with other dogs and kids. He knows basic commands, walks well on leash, and is potty trained. He requires anti-flammatory medication, pain medication, and glucosamine supplements for the remainder of his life.
